Arpine Hovhannisyan: We want to also criminally punish for lies in officals' tax declarations

YEREVAN. - We wish to stipulate both administrative and criminal punishment for the false information in the tax declaration of officials.

Acting Justice Minister of Armenia Arpine Hovhannisyan said the aforementioned to journalists in the parliament on Monday.

In her words, during the subsequent extraordinary session of the parliament, the relevant Government bill will be introduced. Refusal to provide a declaration will also be punishable. ''The civil society representatives noted about the need of administrative punishment for these violations. We agree. And now the criminal punishment is also discussed,'' Hovhannisyan said.
