YEREVAN. - Тhe package tour will not be excluded from the social package of the Armenian civil servants in 2017.

The Armenian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Artem Asatryan, said the aforementioned in the parliament on Wednesday, responding to the question of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) MP Ruzanna Muradyan.

The social package directions have remained the same: vacation in Armenia and Karabakh, payment of mortgage loans, tuition fee payment and medical services, he added.

It will again be possible to convert the means into cash: if the civil servant has unexpended balance, he can convert it into cash within social transfers (5 percent from the salary into pension fund), which he paid during a year. The unexpended balance can also be converted into cash when retiring.

In early July, the Chairman of the Civil Service Council of Armenia, Manvel Badalyan, stated about machinations of civil servants and rest homes (booking documents were issued for kickback, while the remaining money was converted into case and taken by the civil servants). He didn’t rule out that the booking documents could be excluded from the social package.
