Turkey’s adventurism can provoke regional war, Iraqi PM Haider  Al-Abadi told Reuters

According to him, they have repeatedly urged Ankara not to interfere in the Iraqi domestic affairs. "The conduct of the Turkish leadership is unacceptable. I am afraid that the Turkish adventurism can lead to regional war,” he noted, adding that Iraq doesn’t want military confrontation with Turkey.

Last week the Turkish parliament voted for extending the presence of its military presence in Iraq for another year. The Iraqi parliament condemned Turkey’s actions, urging to withdraw the Turkish military contingent of nearly 2000 from the Iraqi territory.
