YEREVAN. – Ever since 2004, October 7 is celebrated in Armenia as Librarian Day.
By a government decision, this day was put on the list of professional holidays in the country.
The main objective of the events being organized on the occasion of this professional holiday is, first and foremost, restoring the younger generation’s interest in books as the main sources of information.
