GYUMRI. – The opposition GALA, Prosperous Armenia, and Armenian Revival Parties boycotted Monday’s session of the newly elected Council of Elders of Gyumri, the second largest city of Armenia.
And as a result of a secret ballot at this session, incumbent Gyumri Mayor Samvel Balasanyan was reelected to this position, and, subsequently, he was sworn in into this office, the Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter informed from the city.
