On October 19, Iran said it has discovered higher uranium reserves near Bandar Abbas in southern Iran, Iranian mass media reported.

“The exploration and extraction of uranium ore is being conducted simultaneously, which gives life to the Bandar Abbas mine by several more years," Iranian Nuclear Chief said.
