Ivanovsky Parachute Factory demonstrated its production in the framework of ArmHiTec 2016 international exhibition of arms and defense technologies , which is held in Yerevan for the first time.  

According to the specialist of Purchase Department at Ivanovski Parachute Factory, Vladimir Potapov, the most modern special purpose parachute systems and cargo containers were demonstrated on the factory’s mount.    

“We have contracts signed with the Armenian side and we periodically supply paraborne equipment to meet the needs of the [Armenian] Defense Ministry,” the factory representative said.

In Potapov’s words, Ivanovsky factory is a monopolist and the only manufacturer in former CIS countries according to several types of paraborne equipment.

“That’s why we work with all customers,” he added.

“The subject of parachutes is developing in Russia and abroad. We have our construction bureau, where we follow all the developments. And we consider that we are in line with modern parachute construction,” the specialist concluded.
