The UN member states should respect UN Security Council’s resolution on sanctions against Iran, as the UN regulation stands, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian told the reporters. “We do not think use of force and imposing sanctions can solve the problem. We hope Iran’s nuclear program will be solved through negotiations, by joint efforts of Iran and the international community.

“Armenia and Iran develop relations dynamically, expand economic cooperation and are implementing joint projects, particularly in the filed of energy and transportation. There are active contacts between the two states. Recently, I have been to Iran and Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani paid a visit to Armenia. Now, Armenia Premier is going to visit Iran,” Nalbandian said.
