YEREVAN. - The participants of EXPO-RUSSIA, ARMENIA 2016 plus IRAN industrial exhibition held in Yerevan on Wednesday were welcomed by Russian FM Sergey Lavrov.

Russian Ambassador to Armenia, Ivan Volinkin, read out the FM's message during the exhibition.

''Relations of strategic partnership between our countries are developing in all directions, including in that of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). Regular high-level dialogue makes invaluable contribution to this. Our exhibition – which has confidently established itself as a demanded platform for the demonstration of the economic achievements of our states - plays an important role here.

Heavy programme and representative composition of its participants are key to  the exhibition's success. I hope that the conference on prospects in the context of joining the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) - planned to be held during the exhibition – will contribute to developing mutually beneficial ties in the framework of the Eurasian integration. We are also ready to contribute to the cooperation in including our friends from the Islamic Republic of Iran, who have joined the exhibition this year.''
