YEREVAN. – The latest official information on apartment prices in Armenia has showed nothing new.

The only exception, however, was the fact that the number of apartment sale and purchase deals in capital city Yerevan reduced by almost 18 percent in September, on a yearly basis.

This decline was more than 16 percent, as compared to August, during which, however, the number of apartment purchase and sale transactions in Yerevan had increased by 11 percent, on a yearly basis.

But the slump in buyer demand in September had virtually no impact on apartment prices.

Judging by the same official information, the apartments’ market prices in September have not changed at all, as compared to August.

There is nothing new also with respect to the changes made during the year. Prices of apartments have increased, but in a purely symbolic manner. 

In actual fact, some of the buyer demand in Armenia simply bypasses the realtors.
