YEREVAN. – The first snow of the season fell in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, on Tuesday.
It was snowing in the city’s higher altitudes since the morning, but subsequently, it began to snow also in the downtown area and southern parts of Yerevan (PHOTOS).
In the provinces of Armenia, however, there is heavy snowfall for the past few days.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations urges drivers to travel with winter tires on their vehicles.
