YEREVAN. - Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan on Tuesday dismissed Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia, Hovhannes Hovhannisyan.

Hovhannisyan was relieved of his duties upon his own application.

For many years Hovhannisyan worked in the structures managed by ARF Dashnaktsutyun: In the 2000s he worked in the Agriculture Ministry, and after the ARF-D left the coalition, he became an expert in the ARF-D parliamentary faction. This year when Dashnaktsutyun returned to power, Hovhannisyan moved to the Economy Ministry following its new president Artsvik Minasyan, who has recently become the republic’s Economy Minister.
