YEREVAN. – In 2017, the Government of Armenia will start reimbursing employers, for the salaries of persons with autism.

The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Artem Asatryan, said the abovementioned at Wednesday’s National Assembly hearings on the draft state budget for next year.

In particular, 26.2 million drams (about US$55 thousand) are planned to be allocated to this end, and by way of a respective program. 

State support will be given to pay the wages, including the income tax, of 30 such employees.
