YEREVAN. - The Agriculture Ministry of Armenia is holding talks with foreign investors on opening an irrigation construction plant.

Armenian Minister of Agriculture, Ignati Arakelyan, stated the aforementioned Wednesday, speaking at the parliamentary hearings on draft 2017 State Budget.

In his words, the imported pipes are expensive, whereas the local production isn’t professional enough. “We will try to create a new production of irrigation systems,” Arakelyan added.
