YEREVAN. - The Ministry of Nature Protection of Armenia will seriously consider the export and corruption risks of fish and crayfish hunting from Sevan.  

Armenian Minister of Nature Protection Artsvik Minasyan stated the aforementioned Wednesday, speaking at the parliamentary hearings on draft 2017 State Budget.

“It is necessary to maximally keep track of transparency. A serious reform – a very serious one – is needed,” the Minister added.

In 2017 it is proposed to allocate 7.6 mln ($16,000) for the stock record of fish and crayfish in Sevan and its drainage area. This is the same amount allocated in 2016.
