STEPANAKERT. – The Azerbaijani official propaganda continues the policy of disseminating disinformation, so as to mislead the public.

The aforementioned is noted in a statement, which the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Ministry of Defense (NKR/Artsakh MOD) issued on Thursday.

In particular, Azerbaijani media and social media on Wednesday spread information that shells, which allegedly were fired from Armenian mortars, had fallen in several Azerbaijani regions.

The NKR MOD stated, however, that this information is inaccurate, and, furthermore, by disseminating such kinds of communiqués, Azerbaijan is attempting to insure itself from further provocations.

“Thee [Artsakh] DA [i.e. defense army] vanguard units strictly follow the obligations they have assumed, and they never target peaceful settlements,” the NKR MOD statement also runs.
