YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Ministry is not going to respond to ridiculous statements of Russian political analyst Sergey Markov, Deputy Foreign Minister said during parliamentary hearing on Thursday.

Head of Prosperous Armenia parliamentary group Naira Zohrabyan asked to comment on the statement by Sergey Markov who claims that the peace agreement on Karabakh was allegedly ready, but the Armenian side refused to sign it at the last minute. According to Markov, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic had to be a part of Azerbaijan. “Why has not Armenia replied?”

Deputy FM Shavarsh Kocharyan replied: “Ridiculous remarks he made are not worthy a response of the Foreign Ministry. We are not going to make ridiculous statements valuable. We are not going to respond to Markov”.
