STEPANAKERT. - President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Bako Sahakyan on Friday received Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan.

A wide range of issues related to the economic cooperation between the two Armenian states were discussed at the meeting, the press-service of the NKR President informs Armenian News – NEWS.am.

President Sahakyan once again congratulated Karen Karapetyan on his appointment to the post of the head of the Armenian Cabinet, wishing him good luck. He also expressed hope that during Karapetyan’s term the high-level economic ties between Armenia and NKR will consistently continue developing and expanding.

Bako Sahakyan handed the "Mesrop Mashtots" order to Karen Karapetyan which was bestowed upon him on August 30 of the current year for the support in solving significant social and economic tasks in Artsakh and on occasion of the 25th anniversary of the NKR proclamation.

The meeting was also attended by NKR Prime Minister Arayik Haroutyunyan and other officials.
