YEREVAN. – Congress of the ruling Republican party of Armenia (RPA) Women’s Council kicked off Saturday in capital city Yerevan (PHOTOS). 

This year’s congress is entitled, “Armenia 25: World and Women,” the Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter informed from on location.

The event has also brought together President of Armenia and RPA Chairman Serzh Sargsyan as well as guests from the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) and abroad.

The participants in the congress will discuss the place and role of women in social and political life, modern-day world and regional integration processes, and their involvement in elections.
