STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Prime Minister Arayik Haroutyunyan on Saturday received a delegation from Armenia, led by PM Karen Karapetyan, which has arrived in Artsakh on a working visit.

Subsequently, the two PMs convoked a working consultation to discuss cooperation between the two executive bodies, informed the NKR Government news service.

First, the Artsakh PM wished Karapetyan success in assuming the office of the PM of Armenia.

“The future of our nation to some extent depends also on your success,” Haroutyunyan noted, in particular.

The Premier of Armenia, for his part, stated that he is determined to further deepen cooperation between the two governments.

“I expect maximum effective work,” Karapetyan specifically said.

During the consultation, the parties put forward specific proposals and reached agreements on implementing them. 

At the end of the talk, the two PMs gave instructions toward finding effective solutions to the identified problems.

Subsequently, the premiers of Armenia and NKR chaired a separate consultation regarding specific programs for cooperation in the energy sector. The parties reached agreements on the respective future courses of action.
