YEREVAN. - The Chief of State Health Agency of Armenia’s Health Ministry, Saro Tsaturyan, was dismissed upon his own application Friday, the press-service of the Health Ministry informed Armenian News – NEWS.am.

As reported earlier, on the basis of obtained evidence, Chief of State Health Agency Saro Tsaturyan, head of Yerevan City Center, Arsen Sedrakyan, and former head of Medical Examination and Information Center, Samvel Kharazyan, were charged with Article 308 (2) of the Armenian Criminal Code (abusing of position, which negligently caused grave consequences ). Precautionary measure of release on signature bond is enforced regarding them.

Later, in the framework of the criminal case considered in the proceedings of the Department of Especially Important Cases of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, the investigator decided to temporarily suspend the activity of Tsaturyan and Sedrakyan.
