Israel has requested Russia not to sell modern arms to Iran, since it can shatter the military balance in the Middle East, reports the Cursor, referring to the press conference of the Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman.
Lieberman stressed that Israel is seriously concerned about possible sales of military modern fighters. At the same time, Lieberman announced that Israel will hardly be able to stop implementing the new military deal between Moscow and Tehran. Earlier it was reported, that Russia considered a possibility of supplying arms and equipment to Iran worth $ 10 billion.
