Newspaper: Russia journalist says Armenia President resolves matters with “axe”

YEREVAN. – Renowned Russian journalist Dmitry Kiselyov, who had arrived in Armenia, interviewed President Serzh Sargsyan, reported Hraparak newspaper.

“By the way, Kiselyov, who is in the hierarchy of the Kremlin journalists, [and] who is pretty close with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin’s spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, differs from the other ‘celebrities’ by his status, not only by the degree of material prosperity, but also freedom.

“Peskov [unlike some other Kremlin journalists] maintains a parity balance between the Armenian-Azerbaijani ‘parties.’

“On one occasion, he said about Serzh Sargsyan: ‘Sargsyan, just like Putin, is able to resolve a matter with an axe, [but] without shedding blood; few have such a talent in politics,’” wrote Hraparak.
