An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.8 occurred at the southeast coast of the Philippine archipelago, RIA Novosti reported quoting National Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
The epicenter of the quake was located 33 kilometers to the southeast from the city of Cagwait, Surigao del Sur province. The seismic center lay at a depth of 42 kilometers under the surface of the Philippine Sea. There was no tsunami warning. No casualties or damages have been reported yet.
