The Ukrainian MPs suggest the Parliament to check the president’s, prime minister’s, cabinet members’, and MPs’ mental health every year and make sure that they do not have any dependency to alcohol or drugs. The relevant bill is posted at the official website of the Verkhovna Rada.

The document suggests that the Ministry of Health undertake the examination of bureaucrats’ mental health. Based on the medical examinations, every year there will be issued appropriate references on their health.   Medical examinations refer not only to the country's top leadership, but also to self-governing officials, the Attorney General, the Security Service employees, the National Bank executives, judges, armed forces employees, police, and members of the CEC.
