Shares of banks, industrial companies, and healthcare corporations have raised Jones Industrial Average index to 19 000 points, reports The Wall Street Journal. Experts say that the reason for such a high indicator is positive expectations of investors in regard to the US new elected President Donald Trump’s economic policy.
The WSJ finds out that three financial players got the maximum profit out of bargains. This month Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (Dow Jones by 240.99 points) and JP Morgan Chase & Co. (73,76 points) received income thanks to prospects of better revenues and more profitable business deals. In addition to banks, it has become beneficial for the largest US health insurer UnitedHealth Group as well. The company added 12 percent to $ 46 billion and increase profits at the expense of the news that Trump intends to cancel the law on medical care.
