YEREVAN. – As a result of the open voting at the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Executive Board elections that were conducted during Saturday’s 16th RPA congress in capital city Yerevan, 21 members were included in the executive body of this political force (PHOTOS).

Some of these members are: RPA Chairman and President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan; President of the National Assembly, Galust Sahakyan; Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan; Minister of Defense, Vigen Sargsyan; Minister of Justice, Arpine Hovhannisyan; Minister of Diaspora, Hranush Hakobyan; and Mayor of Yerevan, Taron Margaryan.

President Sargsyan noted that there are some changes, as compared to the previous RPA Executive Board.

“We are fulfilling the task of rejuvenating the executive board,” he added.
