YEREVAN. - The Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia has found an investor for the Western Armenian school in Armenia.
Education and Science Minister Levon Mkrtchyan said the aforementioned in the parliament on Wednesday, responding to the question of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) MP Ruzanna Muradyan.
In the future the Ministry wants to turn the school into a bilingual cultural center (Western and Eastern Armenian), he added.
''Such a center is also very important in terms of retraining Diaspora teachers in Armenia already on the basis of the Western Armenian and classic spelling of the Armenian language. Preserving that spelling is our obligation,'' the Minister stated.
