YEREVAN. – Three Armenian opposition parties – “Bright Armenia”, “Republic” and “Civil Contract” – decided to join efforts ahead of parliamentary elections.

The parties “being committed to protect sovereignty and independence of Armenia” and realizing importance of problem solution based on the priorities of democracy development, have reached an accord to join an alliance, they said in a statement.

The parties will form a bloc to participate in the parliamentary elections and elections to the Council of Elders of Yerevan. They will further start talks on creating a single party.
