YEREVAN. - The active participation of Gagik Tsarukyan and Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) in political events is necessary.

Former deputy chief of the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia, Gurgen Yeghiazaryan, stated the aforementioned at a press-conference on Monday.

He recalled that back on February 13 and 14 last year he stated that Armenia will be sorry for removing from the political field the second largest party according to its support. “I said that this will become a guillotine for them in the future. Time will come when we will see that the active participation of Gagik Tsarukyan and PAP in the political events is necessary,” Yeghiazaryan stressed, urging to welcome Tsarukyan’s return to politics.
