Gazprom and National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) signed an agreement on cooperation, Gazeta reported.
Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh hoped that with signing of the document Gazprom Neft will begin development of two fields in the territory of Iran.
He also added that he was supporting the activity of Russian companies on the Iranian market.
