YEREVAN. – The first flight from Gyumri to Moscow operated by Pobeda, Russian low cost airlines, was made on Thursday.
The plane carrying 173 passengers departed from Shirak airport of Gyumri, Armenia's second largest city. The tickets cost only $16.
However, the first flight was marked by an incident with 16 passengers from Vanadzor who were late because of weather conditions and were not allowed to board the plane. According to the company, the next flight has been almost sold out.
