YEREVAN. – The American dollar’s (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 481.60/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday; this is down by AMD 1.08 from Monday, informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 500.05 (down by AMD 4.30), that of one British pound was AMD 596.22 (down by AMD 5.25), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.81 (down by AMD 0.01).

In addition, one gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 247.74, AMD 17,593.47 and AMD 14,322.51, respectively.

The NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, however, saw no foreign currency trading on Tuesday.
