Airbus and Iran Air have signed the final contract for the purchase of 100 passenger planes, IRNA reported.
Describing the contract as a historic, the Airbus said that according to the agreement, Iran can purchase 46 planes of A320 class and sixteen A350 XWBs.
The first batch of passenger planes will be delivered to the Islamic Republic of Iran at the beginning of 2017.
