Vice president of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Eduard Sharmazanov, on Monday left for Iran.
Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the NA press service that Sharmazanov will attend the funeral of former President Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani of Iran.
Rafsanjani passed away Sunday, at the age of 82.
He was the President of Iran from 1989 to 1997.
