The suspect in the case related to the murder of the son of the deputy governor of Armenia’s Gegharkunik province, 29-year-old Hayk Hakobyan, turned himself in to the police Sunday.
The suspect is Mekhak Harutyunyan, 29, the press-service of the Armenian police reports. He handed the crime instrument, which was a Makarov pistol. The police have disseminated a video in this regard.
Hayk Harutyunyan was shot dead in his car on Saturday.
