Iran voiced protest against the U.S. in connection with the ban on issuing visas to Iranian citizens.
As IRNA reported, the Swiss ambassador, representing U.S. interests in Tehran was summoned to the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif presented a note of protest to the Ambassador of Switzerland in connection with the executive order of the U.S. President Donald Trump to suspend refugee arrivals and bar visas for travelers from Iran.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman emphasized that the Iranians were the victims of the terrorist groups which were supported by the United States in the past decades.
