YEREVAN. – The leader of the Armenian National Congress (ANC), first president Levon Ter-Petrosyan have not met with Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan, member of ANC board Vladimir Karapetyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Asked whether ANC is holding talks on cooperation with other political forces, Karapetyan assured that the party is open to cooperation and is ready to participate in the elections within any bloc, especially with the parties that “share our approaches”.

“We are studying the political environment and are holding consultations. If the format of cooperation is decided, we will make it public,” he said.

As to possible joining the bloc by Gagik Tsarukyan, he said there are no final results of the talks.   

“We have not reached mutual agreement so far, and I prefer not to comment on the matter,” he added.
