Mayor of the Spanish capital Manuela Carmena compared the U.S. President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler, TASS reported quoting ABC.

The mayor reportedly criticized the recent decision of the American leader concerning U.S. migration policy.

Carmena noted that in spite of the fact that the new administration was legally appointed and was supported by considerable number of citizens, it is a gross human rights violation in the 21st century.

ABC did not provide the exact quote confirming that the mayor compared Trump to Hitler. But the fact that such comparison took place was confirmed by other Spanish media as well.
