Turkey and Israel will hold political consultations for the first time after the last six years.

The consultations will be held in Ankara on Wednesday, Anadolu reports.

The Turkish delegation will be led by the MFA advisor Ümit Yalçın, while the Israeli one will be represented by the Secretary General of Israeli MFA, Yuval Rotem.

In July 2016, Ankara and Tel-Aviv signed an agreement on the normalization of bilateral relations after the crisis related to the incident with Mavi Maramara ship in 2010.
