Iraq will not take counter-measures in connection with the executive order of U.S. President Donald Trump on the entry ban against the citizens of seven Muslim countries, Prime Minister of Iraq Haider al-Abadi said on Tuesday, Reuters reports.

In his words, Baghdad doesn’t want to lose Washington’s support in the war against IS. Responding to the question as to whether he is going to take any measures in connection with the voting to be held in the Iraqi parliament over this issue, Abadi noted that the Government will not act like that.

“We are studying the possible decisions but we are at war and don’t want to harm our national interests,”he said.
