A 5.3 magnitude earthquake struck the Aegean coast of Turkey , the province of Canakkale, U.S. National Geological Survey reported.
The quake measured 6.8 magnitude at the epicenter.
Earlier the European seismology center reported about 5.2 magnitude quake near Turkey’s western coast on Monday morning.
