STEPANAKERT. – The Karabakh serviceman Koryun Kirakosyan wounded in Azerbaijan ceasefire violation is undergoing a surgery.

According to information obtained by Armenian News - NEWS.am, 19-year-old Koryun was wounded in his head. The condition is estimated as grave. The serviceman is in hospital of Stepanakert.

Earlier it was reported that serviceman of Karabakh Defense Army Gegham Manukyan (born in 1979) was killed as a result of ceasefire violation by Azerbaijan on Wednesday morning at a military outpost located in the eastern direction of the line of contact.

Another serviceman Koryun Kirakosyan (born in 1998) was seriously wounded at a military outpost in the direction of Martakert at midday, the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The Karabakh Defense Army launched an investigation.
