The US Senators, both Democrats and Republicans, will introduce a bill for the consideration of the Senate, which implies a strict control over the US president’s administration and allows them to use the right of veto. This initiative has been undertaken out of concern, that Donald Trump could weaken sanctions against Russia, reports CNN.
The bill requires the White House to submit a detailed report on why it takes a decision to ease sanctions against Russia, if so. After that, the Congress will examine the issue within 120 days and will put it to a vote.
Marco Rubio, who participated in drafting the document, thinks there is a real threat, that the sanctions will be canceled without any necessary conditions.
