The Kurdish reporter Shifa Gardi was killed in Mosul in a roadside bomb attack while covering clashes between government forces and ISIL, reports Gazeta.
She started covering the liberation of Mosul recently. After receiving the news about the tragedy, the Rudaw channel, where Gardi worked, posted her photos made shortly before her death on Twitter.
