STEPNAKERT. - After the recent incidents, when the attack attempts of the Azerbaijani armed forces appeared to be a total failure and the adversary left 5 bodies in the neutral zone, being driven away to its starting positions, it seemed that the latter would refrain from further adventurism.
However, at 3:40 pm on Tuesday, the Azerbaijani armed forces used SPIKE anti-tank guided missile in the southeastern (Martuni) direction of the contact line, this proving that the adversary is deliberately escalating the situation at the frontline, which is fraught with unforseeable consequences.
According to the press-service of the Artsakh Defense Ministry, the Artsakh Defense Army has suffered no losses as a result of the use of the anti-tank guided missile by the adversary.
Besides using an unmanned aerial vehicle, the adversary continued to violate the ceasefire regime by firing shots from rifle weapons (10 shells) of different calibers, including AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher and 60 mm mortars (2 shells).
The Defense Ministry of the Artsakh Republic states that it is ready for any developments, while the entire responsibility of the further escalation in the line of contact will fall on the military and political leadership of Azerbaijan.
