The former British Prime Minister John Major criticized strategy of Brexit, implemented by the government of Theresa May, reports Bloomberg.

Major accused supporters of Brexit of neglecting the opponents, which can be viewed as a sign of a contempt. According to him, some legislators who support the British withdrawal from the EU "act against their principles," trying to disrupt the parliament to perform a significant role in the control Brexit negotiations.

" I have watched with growing concern as the British people have been led to expect a future that seems to be unreal and over-optimistic. Obstacles are brushed aside as of no consequence, whilst opportunities are inflated beyond any reasonable expectation of delivery."

The former UK Prime Minister John Major has attacked Theresa May's Brexit strategy, warning that she's making undeliverable promises and should prepare people for the compromises that will come out of her negotiations.
