The Turkish MFA has summoned the German Ambassador to Ankara to express its disapproval of the decision to cancel the talks with the German Justice Minister.

The decision on summing the ambassador was made by the Turkish FM Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Reuters reports, citing its sources.  

Earlier, Turkish Justice Minister Bekir Bozdağ cancelled the meeting with his German counterpart as a sign of protest to the decision of the authorities of German Gaggenau town to ban Bozdağ’s campaign speech on constitutional reforms.

After the arrest of the German-Turkish journalist of the German newspaper "Die Welt"  Deniz Yucel by the Turkish authorities on February 27,  the protests against such events, which politicians call “Turkish state propaganda on German land” and “advertising show of Erdoğan,” have become frequent in Germany.
