Outgoing French President Francois Hollande told Monde, that the threat of French National Front political party leader and candidate for French 2017 presidential election Marine Le Pen’s victory exists, RIA Novosti reported.

Hollande added that the extreme right has not done so well for more than 30 years, but France won’t give in.

According to him, not only the destiny of France but also the future of “the European structure” will be decided by the elections.

French presidential elections will take place on April 23 and May 7.
