According to the information at the disposal of the Zhamanak (Time) newspaper, the RA Control Chamber conducted inspection at the Armenian Parliament and found out significant sums spent on Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan’s “conveniences.”

Chairman of the Control Chamber Ishkhan Zakaryan was surprised and told some of his acquaintances about the inspection results.

“Interestingly, after the incident, the Parliament leadership started talking to the Control Chamber members to detect the leak. Since there was no way of accusing the Chamber Chairman, Speaker Abrahamyan tried to make a Chamber member a scapegoat,” the newspaper writes.
